How to Become a Reviewer
The Academic International Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities (AIJSSH) welcomes qualified scholars and researchers to join its pool of peer reviewers. Reviewers play a critical role in safeguarding the quality, credibility, and scholarly integrity of the journal.
Eligibility Criteria
Prospective reviewers should:

Hold a doctoral degree or be an established researcher in a relevant field of the social sciences or humanities

Demonstrate recognized academic expertise, evidenced by publications in peer-reviewed journals

Reviewer Registration Process
Researchers who wish to serve as reviewers must register through the journal’s online submission system.
To register:

Complete the registration form with accurate personal and academic information.

During registration, select the option:
“Yes, I would like to be contacted with requests to review submissions to this journal.” -
Clearly indicate your Reviewing Interests, specifying your academic fields, research expertise, and methodological competencies. This information is essential for assigning appropriate manuscripts.

Submit the registration form and ensure that your profile information remains up to date.
Reviewer Selection

Reviewers are selected by the Editor-in-Chief or Associate Editors based on academic expertise and stated reviewing interests.

Review invitations are issued according to manuscript relevance and reviewer availability.

Reviewers may accept or decline invitations depending on expertise, workload, or potential conflicts of interest.
Reviewer Guidelines
1. Reviewer Responsibilities and Ethics
Reviewers are expected to:

2. Evaluation Criteria
Reviewers should assess manuscripts based on the following criteria:

Originality: Does the study offer new insights, perspectives, or knowledge?

Methodological rigor: Are the research design, methods, and analysis appropriate and clearly explained?

Relevance: Is the manuscript aligned with the journal’s scope and relevant to the discipline?

3. Confidentiality Guidelines

All manuscripts under review are confidential documents and must not be shared with any third party without explicit permission from the editor.

Reviewers must not contact the authors directly regarding the manuscript at any stage of the review process.
4. Conflict of Interest Declaration

Reviewers must decline to review any manuscript in which they have a personal, professional, or financial conflict of interest.

Potential conflicts include, but are not limited to, employment at the same institution as the authors, recent collaboration on related research, or any relationship that may compromise impartial judgment.
